Regular Yorkeys Knob Residents Association Meetings are held on the last Tuesday of each month, at 7.30 PM, Community Centre, Wattle Street.
Yorkeys Knob Community Hall was officially opened by Cairns Mayor Cr. Tom Pyne. AM. on August 17, 1996.

The 2026 FESTIVAL OF THE KNOB (held as always on the King’s birthday weekend in June) was a huge success with over 108 stalls with local artisans, handmade crafts, food trucks, and drink vendors, complete with a jam packed schedule of all-day live entertainment
